Teacher allegedly beats student for not completing homework

HYDERABAD: A sixth-grade student was allegedly beaten by his teacher for not completing his homework.

The incident occurred at a private school in Lakshmidevipalli mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district where the teacher, identified as Satish, is accused of severely assaulting the student over the incomplete assignment.

The student's parents, upon noticing the injuries on their child, reviewed CCTV footage from the school and filed a complaint with the police against the teacher. The footage reportedly confirmed the assault, leading to official action.

Local authorities are investigating the matter, and further developments are awaited. The student’s condition following the incident has not been disclosed.
