Teacher beats class 10 student with stick for cheating in exam

JAGTIAL: A Class 10 student was beaten with a stick by a teacher in a private school in Jagtial for allegedly cheating during an exam. The incident left the student, Fouzan, visibly hurt, with the stick reportedly breaking during the beating.

The parents of the student expressed strong displeasure towards the school administration. They were angered by the use of such severe physical punishment, questioning why the teacher resorted to such extreme measures. They argued that the student should have been corrected verbally rather than subjected to violence.

The parents demanded accountability from the school authorities, emphasising that corporal punishment is unacceptable in handling such situations. The parents have not lodged a formal complaint with the police against corporal punishment.
