Telangana Narcotics Bureau busts drug party in SR Nagar, 12 software engineers held

At least 12 engineering students and software employees were apprehended in connection with this case.

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Narcotics Bureau (TSNAB) officials conducted raids in the city on Monday and seized a significant amount of drugs at an apartment in SR Nagar and arrested 12 people belonging to Nellore.

According to the Narcotics Bureau, a total of 12 engineering students and software employees were apprehended in connection with this case. Sampath, one of the accused, had brought the drugs from Goa specifically for Prem Chand's birthday celebration who happened to be the son of Nellore Urban Development Authority (NUDA) Chairman Mukkala Dwarkanath.

Prem Chand, in turn, organised a drug party for approximately 30 people. It was revealed that the drugs were brought from Goa by a group of youth for a birthday party.

It has been reported that all the engineers present at the party were employees of a prominent software company who collectively planned and participated in this event.
