TG NAB raids 25 pubs in Hyderabad, six arrested
TG NAB raided 25 pubs in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy, detaining six individuals after drug tests.
HYDERABAD: Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TG-NAB) conducted raids at 25 pubs in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts on Friday night. The raids were carried out jointly by Excise and TG NAB officials between 11 PM and 1 AM.
Led by Assistant Commissioner Anil Kumar Reddy, the authorities conducted drug detection tests using 107 kits on individuals present in the pubs. Six people tested positive for drugs. Specifically, two individuals each tested positive at G40 and Whisky Samba pubs, while one person each tested positive at Zora Pub and Club Rogue. Those who tested positive were taken into custody.
Excise Enforcement Director Kamalasan Reddy and Joint Commissioner Qureshi, among other officials, participated in the operation.
