Three drowned in Akkampally reservoir, two bodies recovered

HYDERABAD: Three students of Balaji Pharmacy College, Chilkur, died by drowning in the Akkampally Reservoir on Saturday.

Reportedly, eight students of the College went for a picnic, to the Nagarjuna Sagar Reservoir and while returning, went for a swim in the Akkampally reservoir. Three students, identified as Akash, Krishna and Ganesh drowned and lost their lives.

One of the students slipped into the water and the other two drowned in an attempt to save him.

Police recovered two bodies and the hunt for one more body was ongoing.
