KARIMNAGAR: Stray dogs continue to wreak havoc in Telangana as authorities turn a blind eye to the growing menace. The number of victims is increasing daily, with people of all ages falling prey to the animals. Packs of strays roam the streets, attacking and injuring pedestrians, often fatally.

In a recent incident that has sent shockwaves through Karimnagar district, an 18-month-old boy was savagely attacked by a stray dog near Satavahana University. The toddler, identified as Harinandan, was playing with another child on the roadside when the dog pounced, inflicting severe injuries.
