Transgender brutally murdered in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A transgender was brutally murdered and hacked to pieces in Fatehnagar Pittala Basti of Sanath Nagar in Hyderabad.

Locals discovered the body in a deserted area and promptly informed the police by calling 100. The deceased has been identified as Sheela.

Balanagar ACP Hanumanth Rao expressed doubts, indicating that the transgenders suspect unknown individuals under the influence of ganja committed the murder.

Following the news of the murder, fellow transgenders protested in front of the Sanath Nagar police station, demanding swift justice.
