Two dead, five injured as car hits road divider in Sri Sathya Sai district

AMARAVATI: Two individuals lost their lives while five others sustained serious injuries in a road accident in Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The incident took place near Cholasamudram in Lepakshi Mandal.

A car carrying members of the Brahmakumaris was travelling from Madakasira to Hindupur when it collided with a road divider and overturned. The vehicle was carrying seven people at the time of the accident. Two of the occupants died on the spot due to the impact.

The remaining five passengers suffered serious injuries and were promptly taken to Hindupur hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are monitoring their condition, while police have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
