Two farmers killed in tractor accident while transporting electric poles

JADCHERLA: Two farmers lost their lives when a tractor carrying electric poles overturned in Gangapur, Jadcherla mandal, Mahbubnagar district, on Sunday. The incident occurred as the farmers were transporting electric poles from Jadcherla to install a transformer at a borewell near Chinna Adirala village.

According to local accounts, the tractor lost control on the Gangapur main road, causing the trailer to overturn. The farmers, identified as Perumalla Jangaiah (60) and Eddula Jangaiah (40), were riding on the trailer when the poles fell on them. Perumalla Jangaiah died instantly at the scene, while Eddula Jangaiah succumbed to his injuries during treatment at a hospital in Mahbubnagar.

Circle Inspector Adireddy stated that no formal complaint had been lodged regarding the incident.
