HYDERABAD: Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving four buses and a DCM truck in Suryapet district on Friday. The accident occurred near Akupamula in Munagala mandal, while the vehicles were on their way from Hyderabad to Vijayawada.

According to initial reports, the accident took place when a bus in the front came to a sudden stop, causing the vehicles behind it to collide. Despite the significant impact, 80 passengers emerged unscathed. The injured were promptly taken to a nearby hospital by the police, who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident.

Police officials have registered a case and started an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
