Two killed, three critical after a belt track falls on them at NTPC-Simhadri

PARWADA: Two workers were killed while three others were injured after a belt track fell from a height of 15 meters at a construction site in NTPC Simhadri Power Plant in Parwada of Anakapalli district on Thursday.

The deceased and injured were identified as natives of West Bengal. The injured were shifted to the hospital and their condition was said to be critical. Upon learning of the incident, the police reached the spot and inquired about the accident. A case was registered and an investigation was underway.
