RAYACHOTI: In a bizarre incident in Rayachoti, commotion was created in a police station after a woman beheaded her daughter-in-law due to disputes and carried the head to the police station.
According to the details, Subbamma from Kothapet Ramapuram in Rayachoti murdered Vasundhara, her daughter-in-law, for allegedly having an extra-marital relationship.
Reportedly, Vasundhara's husband and her aunt died a few years ago and she was living with her children. After the death of the husband, all the properties were also transferred to her name, which she was trying to transfer to her lover's name. After learning of this, Vasundhara's husband's younger brother Chandu and her younger aunt Subbamma planned to kill her.
As part of that plan, Vasundhara was beheaded on Thursday afternoon. Later, Subbamma went to the police station holding her head in broad daylight through the town. The police, who registered a case on the incident said that they have taken up the investigation.
