Woman, hit by Benz car in Raidurg road rage incident, dies
A woman, who was seriously injured after being hit by a Benz car at Raidurg, died while receiving treatment
HYDERABAD: A woman, who was seriously injured after being hit by a Benz car at Raidurg, died while receiving treatment on Wednesday night. The incident occurred on December 18 when the woman was traveling on a two-wheeler along with her husband.
The woman was identified as Maria Mira, who was traveling towards Gachibowli from Erragadda along with her husband, Syed Saifuddin. They were followed by their two relatives on another two-wheeler.
The relatives reportedly had an argument with a person, identified as Raja Simha Reddy, driving a Benz car. The two men (relatives) allegedly questioned Raja Simha Reddy as the water on the road splashed on them. In a fit of rage, the car owner hit the two men. He had even hit the bike of Saifuddin and his wife, as they intervened during the argument.
The woman was seriously injured during the mishap and was immediately shifted to AIG hospital for treatment. The Raidurg police had registered a case based on the complaint of the victims. They arrested the accused and seized his car.
