Woman jumps to death with two girl children in Basara

NIZAMABAD: A woman, along with her two daughters, has ended her life by jumping into River Godavari in Basara in Nirmal district.

According to police, a woman, identified as Baladitya was living with her two children — Bhavya Sri and Manasa — at Gol Hanuman Pedda Bazar in Nizamabad district and making her living by working at a shopping mall after the death of her husband.

She was reportedly staying at her brother's house and carrying out her daily chores. However, for the reasons unknown, the woman took the extreme step and died by suicide along with her two children in Basara.

The local police, upon learning about the incident, visited the spot and started an investigation.
