Woman kills husband with brickbat on head in Ramagundam

PEDDAPALLI: A wife allegedly murdered her husband by smashing on his head with a brick following a quarrel in Ramagundam of Peddapally district on Friday. The incident happened at their residence in the servant quarter of the NTPC Permanent Township.

According to information, Chilumula Suman, an auto driver from the Elkalapalli gate area of Ramagundam, fell in love with Spandana from Potyala village five years ago and subsequently married her. Spandana used to work at the employee's residences in NTPC township.

Interestingly, this was a second marriage for both of them. Disputes began in the family within no time, and both used to quarrel frequently. In their latest fight, Spandana, who could not take her husband's harassment anymore,hit him on the head with a brick. Suman died on the spot in the incident.

After receiving the information, Ramagundam Circle Inspector Kantala Lakshminarayana and NTPC Sub-Inspector Jeevan inspected the incident site and registered a case. The police detained the accused spandana and started an investigation.
