Woman stabs alcoholic husband to death in Shamshabad mandal

SHAMSHABAD: In a shocking incident, a clash between a couple resulted in the wife stabbing her alcoholic husband to death on Sunday. The incident happened in Nanajipur of Shamshabad mandal near Hyderabad.

Reportedly, the woman, who was constantly harassed by her husband after consuming alcohol, stabbed her husband in his head with a knife in a fit of rage, following a quarrel. The Shamshabad rural police, after receiving the information, reached the spot and took the accused into custody.

The police said that the deceased, identified as Raju, was an alcoholic and had been torturing his wife frequently, under the influence of alcohol. The woman, who was vexed with the harassment, stabbed her husband with a knife, resulting in his death.
