Woman’s body stuffed in gunny bag found in Tukkuguda

HYDERABAD: A decomposed dead body of an unidentified woman was found, packed in a gunny bag and dumped at an open place near Tukkuguda under the Pahadi Shareef police station limits of Ranga Reddy district.

The locals, who were disturbed by the foul smell emanating from the gunny bag, informed the police. The Pahadi Shareef police plunged into action and inquired about the incident. After preliminary inquiry, the police suspect that the woman might have been raped and murdered by unknown assailants three days ago before the body was dumped in the area.

The police are checking missing persons’ complaints in the last few days to find a way forward as part of their investigation.
