Youth foils cellphone theft, thieves arrested

HYDERABAD: A courageous youth, Joshua, thwarted a cellphone theft near a hostel in Vengal Rao Nagar, Hyderabad.

Joshua was approached by two men, Balbir Singh and Ram Singh, who asked to make a call. When Joshua handed them his phone, they attempted to flee with it. Another version suggests they tried to snatch his phone. Reacting swiftly, Joshua caught hold of the thieves, preventing their escape.

Despite being attacked, beaten, and threatened with a knife, Joshua bravely held on to the thieves while shouting for help. Students from the hostel and others noticed the altercation, rushed to Joshua's aid, and called the police. The thieves were apprehended and taken into custody by the Maduranagar police.
