Youth murdered in drunken brawl between teenage friends in Nagar Kurnool
A drunken brawl between two teenage friends resulted in a gruesome murder of one of them by the other in Nagar Kurnool district of Telangana
NAGAR KURNOOL: A drunken brawl between two teenage friends resulted in a gruesome murder of one of them by the other in Nagar Kurnool district of Telangana late Wednesday night. The horrific incident happened in the mandal headquarter town of Bijinepalle.
According to Nagar Kurnool Inspector Hanumanth, two friends, Bhanu (18) and Victory (19), from Bijinepally went to Nandivaddeman village in the mandal on Wednesday evening and consumed alcohol there. Later, the duo headed to Bijinepalle and consumed more alcohol at a tent house shop there till midnight.
The two teenagers had an argument over some unspecified issues, resulting in a fight between them. Victory, in a fit of rage, stabbed Bhanu in the chest with an iron rod killing his friend on the spot. The Bijinepally police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
It is learned that Bhanu, the deceased, was earlier involved in a murder case registered at the Bijinepally police station pending trial.
