ASIFABAD: Five government-run tribal schools in Koutala mandal of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district have been closed for the past week due to a shortage of teachers.
The affected schools include Mogadagad, Shivalingapur, Kaniki, and Janagam, which are single-teacher schools where the teachers were recently transferred. Additionally, the teacher of Gurudupet Tribal Primary School is on medical leave, leaving these schools without any staff.
As a result, students who arrive at school each day are forced to return home due to the absence of teachers. The closure of these schools has caused significant disruption in the education of tribal students in the region.
