ISB secures #1 position in India, climbs Global ranks in FT Global MBA ranking 2024
The ranking highlighted ISB's strengths across various criteria such as research, alumni network, and career services
HYDERABAD: The Indian School of Business has been ranked #31 in the Financial Times (FT) Global MBA Ranking 2024, consolidating its position as India's best B-school and one of the top-rankings in the world.
That represented a substantial rise from a global ranking of 39 last year. At the Asia level, the school's ranking had gone up to #5, up from the 6th spot the previous year.
The ranking highlighted ISB's strengths across various criteria such as research, alumni network, and career services. In research, ISB was once again ranked #1 in India, with a global rank of #52 this time, up from #61 last year. This underlined ISB’s continued focus on the quality of research produced by the faculty. A stated mission of the school was to create and disseminate research-based knowledge that influenced scholarship, practice, and polity.
ISB was ranked first globally in terms of salary percentage increase. According to FT data, PGP candidates at ISB enjoy a 229 percent increase in salary between before and after the course.
“The consistent ranking as the top B-school in India in the FT Global MBA Ranking underscores ISB’s commitment to academic rigour, quality research, and unparalleled alumni support and success,” said Ramabhadran Thirumalai, Deputy Dean, Academic Programmes, ISB.
