No winter vacay, 13 days summer holidays for JNTU

HYDERABAD: In the timetable released by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) for the coming semester, the University announced that the students would get 13 days holidays, from May 15 to May 27 in 2023, as summer vacation. However, there were no holidays announced during December or January.

Engineering and pharmaceutical courses for the fresher batch of JNTU would begin from November 3, 2022. The classes would continue till December 28 and the students would appear for mid-semester exams from December 29 to January 4.

The second phase of classes would start immediately after the exams from January 5 and would go on till March 2, 2023. Students would appear for semester end exams from March 17.

The University announced that the second semester would begin from the first week of April and next semester-end exams would be held in August 2023.
