Osmania University establishes Global Cell to assist students
Representatives from the Global Education Career Forum (GECF) would visit the college once a week to interact with the students
HYDERABAD: A Global Education Career Forum was established at Osmania University (OU) on the campus of the Engineering College on Saturday.
The Global Cell, which was inaugurated by Prof. Sriram Venkatesh, Principal, University College of Engineering, would be a one-stop destination for information on admissions to overseas universities and visa applications.
The Human Capital Development Centre(HCDC) at Osmania University facilitated the launch of the Global Cell as part of a three-way agreement between Collegiate of Commissonerate Education, India Matters Foundation, and Osmania University.
Representatives from the Global Education Career Forum (GECF) would visit the college once a week to interact with the students. On other days, students can connect online via Zoom to clarify doubts.
Prof. J. Upender, Placement Officer, University College of Engineering, encouraged students to take advantage of the placement cell building at the OU Engineering college. Global Education Career Forum intends to hold an overseas education fair at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology soon.
