Girl dies from Dengue fever in Hanamkonda
An 11-year-old girl in Telangana has died from dengue fever, raising concerns about the spread of the mosquito-borne illness.
HANAMKONDA: An 11-year-old girl died from dengue fever in Hanamkonda district.
Pravalika, from Tatikal village in Dharmasagar mandal, developed a fever four days ago. She was initially taken to a hospital in Hanamkonda, where doctors diagnosed her with dengue. Seeking more specialised treatment, her family transferred her to a private hospital in Hyderabad. However, she died on Monday night.
Adding to the family's distress, Pravalika's brother is also currently suffering from a fever.
