19-year-old boy elopes with 30-year-old woman from Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A 19-year-old engineering student's parents lodged a complaint with the Human Rights Commission after he eloped with a 30-year-old woman from Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

According to reports, the boy, who hailed from Gachibowli, was studying his second year of engineering in the city. He met a local woman and allegedly fell in love with her. The parents reported that the boy, who left his house on June 26, had not returned.

They said that he was staying with the woman and complained to the police that she lured their son in the name of love. The police said they could not do anything as the boy was a major and hence the parents approached the State Human Rights Commission with a request to save their son from her 'captivity'.
