5 consortiums submit GC bids for Hyderabad Airport Metro corridor

HYDERABAD: Five consortiums consisting of 13 highly reputed Indian and international engineering consultancy companies have submitted their bids for pre-qualification to facilitate their participation as General Consultants (GCs) for the Hyderabad Airport Metro corridor project.
Revealing this on Wednesday, Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML) Managing Director NVS Reddy said that there was a good response to the Request for Qualification (RfQ) tender for the General Consultants (GC).
The five consortiums evincing interest in the Hyderabad Airport Metro corridor are as follows:
1. Systra (France) + RITES (India) + DB Engineering and Consulting (Germany)
2. Ayesa Ingenieria y Arquitectura (Spain) + Nippon Koei (Japan) + Aarvee Associates (India)
3. Technica y Proyectos (TYPSA) (Spain) + PINI Group (Switzerland)
4. AECOM India + Egis Rail (France) + Egis India
5. Consulting Engineers Group (India) + Korea National Railway (South Korea)
After evaluation of their applications, the next stage bid documents or the Request for Proposal (RfP) documents would be issued to the pre-qualified bidders by this month end, added NVS Reddy.
