Bouncers pack a 'punch' on media for bubbly 'bouncer Tamanna'

HYDERABAD: In an outrageous act, bouncers of actress Tamannaah Bhatia assaulted mediapersons here on Saturday, when the latter went to cover the promotion of her upcoming OTT film Bubbli Bouncer. Two videographers sustained injuries in the attack. The incident, which happened at the Annapurna Studios, evoked widespread condemnation.

Tamanna joined hands with director Madhur Bhandarkar for an interesting female centric film titled Bubbli Bouncer. Ahead of the film's release on September 23, the film unit kick-started the promotions. The team is in Hyderabad to interact with the media but unfortunately, Tamannaah's bouncers attacked the media.

A video of the same is currently going viral on social media.

Both Tamannaah and director Madhur Bhandarkar reached Annapurna Studios for a press meet to talk about the film. Tamannaah's bouncers displayed high-handed behaviour and assaulted a few mediapersons when they recorded videos of the actress.

In the video, one can clearly see the bouncers attacking the cameramen and trying to damage the cameras. During the tussle, two cameramen were reportedly injured. The bouncers closed the doors of the first floor and the entire incident took place in the presence of Tamannaah and Madhur Bhandarkar.

As of now, there is no clarification on the issue from the film unit.

Babli Bouncer is heading for a direct OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar.
