Cherlapally Jail official transferred for misbehaving with inmates' wives

HYDERABAD: Telangana Director General of Prisons Jitender has transferred Chintala Dasaratham, Deputy Superintendent of Cherlapally Central Jail, for allegedly misbehaving with the wives of inmates. According to reports, Chintala Dasaratham was the subject of numerous accusations even in the past.

He was reportedly transferred from Cherlapally Central Jail to Cherlapally farm on disciplinary grounds. The action was initiated against him after a few women, the wives of convicts, complained to the higher officials that they were being sexually harassed by the jail deputy superintendent during their Mulakat visits.
