Errabelli visits NTR daughter' house, consoles bereaved family

HYDERABAD: Telangana Panchayati Raj and Rural Water Supply Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday visited the house of NTR's youngest daughter Kantamaneni Uma Maheshwari, who died by suicide on Monday. After paying tributes to the mortal remains of Uma Maheshwari, he consoled the bereaved family members. Uma Maheshwari, as claimed by her daughter Dikshita, took the extreme step unable to deal with nagging health issues and stress.

Later speaking to the media outside the house near the Jubilee Hills Check Post, Dayakar Rao said that the news caused deep hurt and anguish among all the admirers of NTR in both the Telugu states. The Minister also spoke to Balakrishna, film star and brother of Uma Maheshwari to convey his condolences.

The minister said that it was unfortunate to hear such news just months after the marriage of Uma Maheshwari's younger daughter. "I've been associated with the NTR family for over 40 years," reminisced the minister while praying for strength to the bereaved family.
