Gold worth Rs 1 cr seized at Hyderabad airport
The gold was discovered during a security check at the airport on his way back from Dubai
HYDERABAD: Hyderabad customs officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) Shamshabad seized 2.1 kgs of gold worth Rs 1 crore from a Dubai passenger on Saturday.
According to reports, Prasad Goud, a passenger, concealed all of the gold in a carton box. The gold was discovered during a security check at the airport on his way back from Dubai.
A case has been filed, and an investigation is underway.
