Thar in which West Zone Task Force seized the cash

HYDERABAD: West Zone Task Force of Hyderabad police seized Rs 89.9 lakhs in cash from a car on Road No 71, Jubilee Hills, in the early hours of Monday.

The task force police seized the car, a Thar (TS 27 D 7777), the cash and arrested the person and handed them over to Jubilee Hills police for further investigation.

The Telangana police were on high alert, checking multiple suspected cars, ahead of the Munugode by-elections. They were on the lookout for unaccounted cash being taken to Munugode and seized huge amounts from the City as well as various places in the State.
