Hyderabad police drive against wrong-side driving, triple riding

HYDERABAD: In order to enhance Road Safety, Hyderabad Traffic Police has recast attention on the personal safety of personal motorists and decided to conduct a special drive against "Wrong Side Drive" and "Triple Riding on Motorcycle" to avert Road Traffic Crashes.

Triple Riding – Rs 1,200

According to the fatality data in the year 2022 (up to October 31), almost 15 people died due to driving on the wrong side, while 8 of them died due to triple riding.

The drive of educating commuters against wrong-side driving and triple riding will start from November 21 in Hyderabad City. The Special drives/Enforcement on the wrong side/triple driving will commence on November 28.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police requested the citizens to abide by the traffic laws as a measure for their own safety
