Metro rail ceremony: Traffic diversions in Cyberabad on December 9
The Cyberabad police has appealed to commuters to follow the above traffic advisory and co-operate with Traffic Police
HYDERABAD: The Cyberabad traffic police have imposed traffic restrictions in view of the laying of the foundation stone at the Raheja Mindspace junction in Madhapur for the extension of the Metro Rail project from Raidurgam to Shamshabad in Hyderabad.
The traffic will be diverted beginning at 9 a.m. on December 9, 2022, and heavy traffic is expected on the roads surrounding the venue and surrounding areas from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. within the jurisdiction of the Madhapur Traffic Police Station.
A public meeting has also been scheduled at (TSPA)Telangana State Police Academy, Himayathsagar, so heavy traffic is expected on the roads surrounding the venue and surrounding areas between 8:30am and 3pm within the Narsingi Traffic PS limits.

Heavy traffic is expected on the following routes on December 9, 2022
- Kavuri hills towards Cyber towers.
- ROB KPHB towards Cyber towers
- Cyber towers towards COD.
- Hitex junction towards Cyber towers.
- Cyber towers to Kothaguda.
- TCS junction towards Cyber towers.
- NIA towards SBI Parvath nagar.
- Neeru's junction towards Parwathnagar.
Alternative routes
- Traffic from ROB KPHB to Bio-diversity junction via IKEA underpass will be detoured at Cyber tower junction - COD - Right turn - Nector gardens - I-Labs - ITC Kohinoor beside road - towards NCB and Khajaguda.
- Traffic will be prohibited from the Cyber Tower Flyover towards Biodiversity. Traffic from ROB KPHB to Gachibowli via the Cyber tower flyover will be detoured at the Cyber towers junction - Metal Charminar - CII junction - Kothaguda - left turn - Gachibowli.
- Traffic from Hitex to Bio diversity junction via Cyber towers will be detoured at Cyber towers - COD junction - Right turn - Nector gardens - I-Labs - ITC beside road - towards NCB and Khajaguda.
- Traffic heading towards Biodiversity and Inorbit mall from CII, Tech Mahindra, and Dell will be diverted at TCS junction - Left turn - Cyber towers - Right turn - COD junction - Right turn - Nector garden - I-Lab - ITC beside road towards NCB and Khajaguda.
Traffic diversion in the limits of Narsingi Traffic police station on December 9, 2022, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Moinabad - Himayathsagar road
- Tipukhan Bridge leading to TSPA Road
- Both service roads from Narsingi to TSPA.
- Rajendranagar direction TSPA road
- Toll booths at ORR Exit No.18.
Alternative routes
- Motorists travelling from Chevella and Moinabad to Hyderabad City, Bandlaguda, Kalimandir, Suncity, Rajendranagar, and RGIA Airport should detour at Guru Raghavendra Hotel, TSPA - Narsingi Rotary - Gachibowli, or Langer House.
- Traffic heading towards Rajendranagar, Bandlaguda, Kalimandir, Moinabad, and Chevella should take a detour at Narsingi Rotary-1 - Taramati Baramati - Tipukhan Bridge - Bandlaguda - Kalimandir.
- Traffic travelling from Tipukhan Bridge Road to Moinabad, Chevella, should detour at Kalimandir Y-Junction - Lords College - Himayathsagar Village - TSPA Rotary-2.
- Traffic travelling from Shamshabad ORR to Kalimandir, Bandlaguda, Suncity, Hyderabad City, Moinabad, or Chevella should avoid Exit 18 and instead take Exits 17 or 01, or the Gachibowli Tollgate Exit 19.
- Exit:17 should be used by traffic coming from Gachibowli ORR towards Kalimandir, Bandlaguda, Suncity, Hyderabad City, Moinabad, and Chevella instead of Exit:18.
- Traffic travelling from Rajendranagar to Kalimandir, Bandlaguda, Suncity, or Hyderabad City should detour at the Rajendranagar ORR Tollgate - Rajendranagar village - Budwel village - Kismathpur village - Kalimandir.
- Heavy vehicles on the ORR should avoid exiting at TSPA.

- Gachibowli ORR towards TSPA

Heavy vehicle movement would be regulated in alternate routes to ensure traffic flow during the programme schedule. The Cyberabad police has appealed to commuters to follow the above traffic advisory and co-operate with Traffic Police to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
