Munugode road shows: Rachakonda Police issue traffic diversions

VIJAYAWADA: The Rachakonda Police issued traffic advisory suggesting road diversions in the city, on Friday (October 21) in view of a few road shows and meetings planned by various political parties as part of their Munugode by-election campaigning. The political parties are conducting their activities between Andol Maisamma Temple and Choutuppal town on Vijayawada National High Way.

Anticipating traffic congestion on the Vijayawada-Hyderabad highway between 4 pm and 10 pm, the Rachakonda Police suggested certain road closures and diversions. They requested road users, coming from Vijayawada, Suryapet and Nalgonda and proceeding to Hyderabad, to take the Bhongir–Nalgonda Road via Ramannapet and Valigonda.

Following are the road closures and diversions

VIJAYAWADA TO HYDERABAD

Take right at Chityal X Road - Bhongir Nalgonda X Road via Ramannapet --Nagaram X Road– Valigonda Road– Take Left Side at Bhongir Warangal Highway– Bibi Nagar Gudur Toll Plaza – Take the left side at ORR Ghatkesar - ORR Pedda Amberper Vijayawada Hyderabad Highway– Vehicles Intended to towards Bangalore Highway & Mumbai Highway can proceed on ORR.

VIJAYAWADA TO HYDERABAD

Take left side at ORR Pedda Amberper Vijayawada Hyderabad Highway– ORR Ghatkesar -- Bibi Nagar Gudur Toll Plaza– Service Road at Bhongir highway -- Valigonda Road on Bhongir-Nalgonda Road– Nagaram X Road– Ramannapet X Road– Take right at Chityal X Road.

Citizens are advised to take alternate routes to reach their destination in view of the above diversions/restrictions and traffic congestion. Citizens are requested to Co-operate with the Rachakonda Traffic Police.
