NIMS employees organise a sit-in demanding higher pay

HYDERABAD: Emoloyees of the prestigious Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences organised a flash dharna on Monday morning. The staff struck work and staged a dharna demanding higher pay.

The striking employees claimed that the management had assured them that salaries would be revised upward, but failed to implement the same.

As a result of the employees' strike, patients are waiting in queues.

Long serpentine queues were formed in front of different counters in the premier tertiary hospital.
