Nizam College students insist on talks at protest site
Tension prevailed for a while as the agitating students and vice-principal were involved in a heated argument at the Nizam College
HYDERABAD: In an attempt to resolve the on-going agitation of the Nizam College students, the college Vice Principal Ranjini offered to facilitate a meeting of 10 students with Higher Education Comissioner Naveen Mittal. Flatly refusing, the students demanded that the commissioner come to them and hold talks.
Tension prevailed for a while as the agitating students and vice-principal were involved in a heated argument. The students continued their protest on the campus demanding allotment for undergraduate girl students in the new hostel block. Police were deployed in good numbers on the campus to maintain peace.
