HYDERABAD: The partial lunar eclipse started in India at 2.39 pm on Tuesday and lasted till 6.19 pm. However, it was witnessed at different timings in different regions of the country.
In Hyderabad, the partial lunar eclipse took place between 5.40 pm and 6.19 pm while it started in Vijayawada at 5.32 pm before lasting till 6.19 pm. In Visakhapatnam, the partial eclipse was seen from 5.20 pm till 6.19 pm even as it took place in Tirumala between 5.41 pm and 6.19 pm. Elsewhere, the lunar eclipse began at 5.41 pm in Bengaluru and at 5.28 pm in Delhi.
All temples in the two Telugu states and across the country were closed since morning due to the lunar eclipse, during which the moon turns red.
