Poachgate accused Nanda Kumar's restaurant demolished in Jubilee Hills

HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials demolished Hyderabad-based businessman Nanda Kumar's Deccan Kitchen restaurant in Film Nagar amid heavy police presence on Sunday.

According to reports, Nanda Kumar, who's also involved in the controversial Poachgate case, leased the space from producer Daggubati Suresh Babu. However, two illegal constructions were carried out on the Deccan Kitchen premises without any permits.

The demolition was carried out by GHMC town planning officials after the illegal structures were built despite several warnings. Illegal structures were demolished in the presence of police to avoid any untoward incidents.
