Rachakonda CP asks people to use Lok Adalat to resolve cases out of court

HYDERABAD: The Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mahesh Bhagwat emphasised the importance of the National Lok-Adalat. He also urged the litigants to utilise the opportunity and resolve their issues.

The Lok-Adalat is one of the alternative dispute redressal mechanisms. It is a forum where disputes or cases pending in the court of law or at pre-litigation stage are settled/ compromised amicably.

The meeting was presided by Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Rangareddy district Sridevi and attended by Additional District Judge, Rangareddy Srinivasa chary II.

The CP along with Addl District Judge (ADJ) inaugurated the Lok-Adalat formally. The gathering included litigants, public, advocates and judges.
