Rachakonda police issue traffic advisory for Dussehra

HYDERABAD: As part of the Dussehra festival moderate traffic is expected within Rachakonda Police Commissionerate. As part of the festivities, the police released a traffic advisory in order to make commuting easy within the city.

The general public, between 7 pm to 9 pm, has been advised to avoid following routes or choose alternative routes to reach their destinations.

LB NAGAR TRAFFIC PS LIMITS - Hanuman Temple LB Nagar-Astalaxmi Temple Chaitanyapuri-Backside Ground of Municipal Office Saroornagar-VV Nagar Bus Stop Saroornagar-Hanuman Temple Kharmanghat-Kranthi Club Saroornagar-Jyothi Club Saroornagar near Old CCS Building.

VANASTHALIPURAM TRAFFIC PS LIMITS - 1. High Court Colony, Vanasthalipuram-RSS Ground, NGOs Colony Vanasthalipuram-Shanthinagar beside Raghavendra Tiffin Center at Old Hayathnagar-Beside ZEE School at Old HayathnagarGram Panchayath office at Pedda Amberpet-Gram Panchayath office at AbdullapurmetSaibaba Temple BN Reddy Nagar- Anjaneya swamy temple at Sahebnagar-Kabaddi Ground at Badangpet Village- Jillelaguda Village.

UPPAL TRAFFIC PS LIMITS – 1. GHMC Ground, Uppal–Near Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur–Near Bade Masjid, Uppal–Chilkanagar X Road (Near Bodrai)-Near Hanuman Temple, Medipally.

2. The police have also advised avoiding Uppal to Ramanthapur road and Vishal Mart to Uppal. They have instead asked to proceed through Uppal-Hubsiguda-Tarnaka or Devender Nagar Colony-KCR Nagar-Venkatreddynagar-Vishal Mart-Amberpet.

MALKAJGIRI TRAFFIC PS LIMITS - Three Temple, Vinayaknagar, approximately 5000 people will be gathered on Vinayaknagar Main Road.

Restrictions - Heavy vehicles and RTC buses coming from Neredmet will not be allowed towards Vinayaknagar. Alternative Routes – It is advised to proceed through Anand Bagh-RK Puram-AOCSafilguda-Anandbagh route-Vinayaknagar.

KUSHAIGUDA TRAFFIC PS LIMITS - Opp: Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Kushaiguda - Nagaram (Near Janani Hospital).

Restrictions – Heavy vehicles and RTC buses coming from Chakripuram will not be allowed towards ECIL. Heavy vehicles and RTC buses coming from Rampally X road will not be allowed towards ECIL.

YADADRI TRAFFIC PS LIMITS - Beside Alair Vaagu near bridge at Alair Town.

BHONGIR TRAFFIC PS LIMITS - Ram Thadaka Bhongir Town, Khilanagar Bhongir Town- Govt Junior College Bhongir Town.

CHOTUPPAL TRAFFIC PS LIMITS - Service Road connected to Valigonda and Narayanpur Road.

Restrictions – General public will not be allowed on the service road between 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

DIVERSIONS- 1. Old Neredmet PS Junction - General traffic from Neredmet will not be allowed towards Vinayaknagar, public who are intending to go towards Vinayaknagar may take the route via Santhoshi Matha temple, Old Saffilguda route.

2. Vehicles coming from Rampally X Road side will divert from Chakripuram towards Ganesh Nagar Kaman-Ashok Nagar Kaman- ECIL X Road.

3. General traffic from Saffilguda will not be allowed towards Neredmet, public who are intending to go towards Neredmet may take the route via Santhoshi Matha Temple, Old Saffilguda, AS Rao Nagar route.

Citizens are advised to take alternate routes to reach their destination in view of the above restrictions and traffic congestions.
