HYDERABAD: YSRCP rebel MP Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju received a jolt from the Telangana High Court as the court dismissed the petition filed by him to quash the case filed in Gachibowli police station under the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
A case was registered in Gachibowli police station on a complaint of an intelligence constable who was on duty at Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju's house was detained and assaulted. The MP filed a quash petition to dismiss the case. Meanwhile, the police made key comments in the court as part of the hearing on the petition.
They told the court that they have sufficient evidence and made it clear that the investigation of the case is at a critical stage. He said that the CRPF personnel have been suspended. With this, the High Court agreed with the argument of the police and dismissed the petition filed by Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju.
