TRS MLAs' poaching case: Voice samples of accused recorded

HYDERABAD: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the MLA's poaching case questioned the accused Ramachandra Bharti alias Satish Sharma, Simhayaji and Nandakumar for the second day on Friday. The police brought the accused to the forensic science lab in Nampally from Chanchalguda jail.

Reportedly, the accused were taken to the forensic lab to record their voice samples. The voice sample collection was meant to match them with the voices of the leaked audio and video clips of the sensational alleged TRS MLAs' poaching scandal to establish the complicity of the accused.

After taking the voice samples, the accused were later taken back to the Rajendranagar Police Station where the police were expected to continue their questioning with regard to the case.
