Uma Maheshwari's death by suicide, says autopsy report

HYDERABAD: The forensic team of the Osmania Hospital of Hyderabad, which carried out a post-mortem interval (PMI) examination of Uma Maheshwari, daughter of late NTR who recently died by suicide, said that the cause of death was a rupture to her throat and vocal cords in the neck.

They said that the death was due to suicide and there was no suspicious outcome in the PMI.

The PMI report was handed over to the Jubilee Hills police by Osmania's forensic department.

The Jubilee Hills police had registered a suspicious death case after which the autopsy was carried out.
