US consulate asks applicants to visit new centre from January 8

HYDERABAD: The US Consulate General advised all applicants attending the Hyderabad Visa Application Center on or after January 8 to visit the new centre in Madhapur.

All candidates were urged to visit the new centre at Lower Concourse, HITEC City Metro Station, Madhapur instead of the Hyderabad centre for their scheduled appointments, document submissions, and passport collecting.

The soon-to-be-opened US Consulate office in Hyderabad will be the largest US consular processing post-South East Asia in terms of both the number of visa windows and the size of the facility. The new office would be 12.2 acres in size and would house 54 visa processing windows.
