HYDERABAD: The wait for SRK fans is finally over, as Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited action thriller 'Jawan' is set to hit theatres on Thursday.
Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are no doubt thrilled to see their idol on the big screen, but this one fan in Hyderabad was so excited that he booked an entire screen for 'Jawan' on its release day on September 7, 2023.
A 30-year-old Hyderabadi Rizwan Farooqui has admired Shah Rukh Khan since he was 12 years old. He recalls witnessing 'Karan Arjun' in a theatre for the first time. Rizwan admires SRK for his wit, humour, and oratory skills.
A passionate SRK fan in Hyderabad reserved the entire screen on the first day of 'Jawan' as a tribute to his idol. He reserved the entire screen to enjoy SRK's film with his family, friends, and Instagram followers.
He booked 240 tickets and Food & Beverage at PVR Irrumanzil for the fans who desired to attend the show on Thursday. All attendees would be served snacks sponsored by Rizwan, who spent around Rs 2 lakhs on bookings as well as food and refreshments for SRK fans.
Rizwan Farooqui, who is looking forward to watching Jawan on September 7, 2023, said, "Even though King Khan made the greatest comeback with Pathan, our excitement this time is triple when compared to Pathan. With Jawan, it's clear that no one can compete with him. He will undoubtedly smash the Pathan day one record.
"The trailer for Jawan, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in a dashing role, was exhilarating and filled with action, drama, and romance. The storyline is intriguing, and the supporting cast is top-notch. The music in the trailer was catchy, and I can already imagine myself humming to the songs while watching the movie. Moreover, the dialogues in the trailer were impactful and delivered with Shah Rukh Khan's signature style. It left me eagerly counting down the days until the movie's release. I have no doubt that Jawan will be a blockbuster, and I can't wait to see SRK in action once again, " he added.
The film, directed by Atlee and starring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Simarjeet Singh Nagra, Azzy Bagria, Manahar Kumar, and Deepika Padukone in cameo appearances, promises to be an action-packed drama for fans.
