Buzz intensifies around #RRRforOscars

Ever since it was premiered on Netflix, RRR has been getting a huge response from the Hollywood audience. Many western writers, directors, actors and critics fell in love with the film and showered praise on it on social media. After the popular director, Edgar Wright joined the fan club of RRR, there is a lot of buzz on social media that the film should be sent for Oscars.

Edgar Wright is known for his films like Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Baby Driver and Last Night in Soho. Recently, Wright watched RRR and stated that he had a blast. Tweeting about his experience, he wrote, "Finally saw @RRRMovie on the big screen at the @BFI with a great crowd. What an absolute blast. So entertaining. The only film I have ever seen where the intermission card itself got a round of applause."

Wright is not the first renowned director to praise RRR. Earlier, other popular directors like the Russo Brothers (Avengers: Endgame) and Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street) have also heaped praises on RRR.

Variety predicted that NTR might win the Best Actor award for his performance at the Oscars. A few filmmakers from Bollywood too opined that the film might win Oscars. Even Anurag Kashyap said that RRR has 99 % chance to win Oscars.

Amidst the buzz, we have to see if RRR can be the official entry of India at the Oscars.
