Leader Sequel & Sivaji Sequel - AVM gives clarity

The 2010 released 'Leader' marked the big screen debut of Rana Daggubati. AVM productions bankrolled this hit project, directed by Shekar Kammula. AVM Productions bankrolled the film. Now, the third generation of AVM, Aruna Guhan has taken up the responsibility to carry the legacy of AVM forward.

Recently, while talking in an interview, Aruna opened up about a sequel for this film. Initially, rumors popped up that Mahesh Babu will be starring in the sequel of 'Leader' and Shekar Kammula will be wielding the megaphone for this project. Aruna has given clarity on the same.

"The project might happen. There have been some conversations. We have to wait and watch," said Aruna regarding the project. She further mentioned that there are a lot of star actors in Telugu like Pawan Kalyan, and Chiranjeevi with whom the banner wants to work. She also opened up about the sequel of Sivaji with Superstar Rajinikanth.

"It has to be a very powerful story. We can't go with ordinary stories. So, we need to have a great story first. If the story is ready, then Rajnikanth sir and Shankar will have to be available. If everything aligns, never say never," added Aruna Guhan.
