Sonia Gandhi admitted due to Covid complications

Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been admitted in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. Congress General Secretary Sujewala took to Twitter and shared the news. He added that she was stable and would be kept under observation. Both Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are present at the hospital.

She was affected by Covid-19 on June 2 and was in isolation ever since.

Sonia Gandhi was summoned to be present before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) due to a money laundering case connected to the National Herald Newspaper. Ms Gandhi, who was asked to be present on June 8, appealed for a different date due to Covid-19 . The federal probe agency later summoned Gandhi on June 23.
