AMARAVATI: YSRCP General Secretary and Advisor to the Andhra Pradesh Government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Thursday claimed that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu did not belong to Andhra Pradesh.

Reacting to Chandrababu Naidu's Khammam public meeting on Wednesday and the comments he made against the YSRCP, Ramakrishna Reddy said that the Aadhar and Voter ID cards of the TDP chief were registered with a Telangana address and not of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the veteran opposition leader was only playing around with the people of Telangana by visiting the neighbouring state ahead of elections.

"While Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has the clarity on residing in only Andhra Pradesh, it is unknown as to which state Chandrababu Naidu is living in," Sajjala commented.

He said that Chandrababu was welcome to serve the people in Telangana and also Andhra Pradesh.

Sajjala's sharp counters followed Chandrababu Naidu's incisive comments on the YSRCP. The TDP chief mocked the recent comments made by the YSRCP leaders including Ramakrishna Reddy on the issue of reunification of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing the public meeting in Khammam on Wednesday night, the TDP chief made a veiled attack on the ruling party leaders, saying that some silly people were raking up the prospect of the reunification of the two Telugu states and claimed that the two could never merge again in future.
