Hath Se Hath Jodo Yatra from February 6
The padayatra would most likely begin in Bhadrachalam, Mahbubnagar, or Adilabad
HYDERABAD: The Hath Se Hath Jodo Yatra will begin in Telangana on February 6, said TPCC President Revanth Reddy on Saturday.
Revanth Reddy told the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday that the padayatra would begin on February 6 and extend for 60 days. The padayatra would most likely begin in Bhadrachalam, Mahbubnagar, or Adilabad.
Rahul Gandhi travelled 3500 KM for 150 days from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. He started a Jodo Yatra to thwart the conspiracies of the BJP. Haath Se Haath Jodo Yatra is to take the message of Bharat Jodo Yatra to every heart.
Revanth Reddy said, "We wanted to start the yatra in Telangana on January 26 once Rahul Gandhi's yatra ends in Kashmir. But citing security reasons, BJP is conspiring to prevent Rahul Gandhi from hoisting the national flag in Kashmir on January 26, 2023".
TPCC President said, "Rahul has decided to hoist the flag in Kashmir at any cost. Rahul will hoist the national flag in Kashmir on January 30,2023. All the important leaders of Telangana including TPCC, and CLP will attend the valedictory meeting of this program. After that, there will be the Union budget on February 1, the Assembly sessions on February 3 and the state budget on February 5. In view of this, we are starting the Hath Se Hath Jodo Yatra on February 6. We passed a resolution to invite Sonia Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi as the chief guest for the Haath Se Haath Jodo program on February 6, 2023".
Initiatives like the distribution of Hath Se Hath Jodo yatra stickers, Rahul Gandhi's letter, and a chargesheet on Modi and KCR's failings would be undertaken during this yatra, led by AICC Program Implementation Committee Chairman Maheshwar Reddy and Sampath Kumar. On January 26, the national flag and the party flag would be unveiled in all villages, Mandals, and district headquarters across the state. The Hath Se Hath Jodo Yatra would thus be formally inaugurated. Observers would be appointed to coordinate the yatra.
"We would replace those who are not working responsibly and hand over the responsibilities to new ones. Action would also be taken against those who do not participate in the yatra. Anyone can speak openly for the welfare of the party. But Thackeray suggested that it should not be detrimental to the party. If anyone speaks to the detriment of the party, action will be taken. The new DCCs will take charge by February 6, 2023", said Revanth Reddy.
Meanwhile, the senior leaders of Congress in Telangana continued to fight for unity within the TPCC. The new party incharge Manikrao Thakare said that he did not want to be involved in any of the internal disputes. The Congress supporters were left wondering how the Hath Se Hath Jodo Yatra would turn out, with fragile unity within the party.
Dalitha-Girijana Atmagaurava Dandora meeting on January 22 in Nagar Kurnool
KCR promised to build the Markandeya project in Bijinepalli, Nagar Kurnool district. But till now not even soil has been dug. In the meeting, we discussed the attack of BRS leaders on Nagam who went to examine this project. Besides, SC and ST atrocity cases were filed against the victims and not against the perpetrators.
A case was also filed against Nagam Janardhan Reddy falsely implicating that he humiliated a woman sarpanch. The female sarpanch gave a statement to the DIG that no humiliation was caused by Nagam Janardhan Reddy. All the senior leaders lodged a complaint to the DGP on this matter. However, the government did not rectify the mistake. That is why, according to Revanth Reddy, a Dalitha Girijana Atmagaurava Sabha would be held tomorrow in Nagar Kurnool to open the government's eyes. This conference would be attended by all significant leaders, including in-charge Manik Rao Thackeray.
